Day 1: The Adventure Begins Your journey starts in the city of Salalah, with hotel or meeting point pick-up scheduled for 10:00 AM. We begin with a visit to the iconic Gravity Road, followed by a short scenic hike among the ancient and majestic baobab trees. Next, we’ll head to Teeq Cave for a moderate hike, where you’ll enjoy a refreshing snack break surrounded by natural beauty. The adventure then takes us to the summit of Mount Samhan—one of the highest points in Dhofar—where we’ll set up camp. The afternoon and evening will be filled with abseiling, hiking, and exploring the mountain’s stunning landscape. As night falls, we’ll gather for a hearty dinner at the campsite, surrounded by peaceful weather and breathtaking views.
Day 2: Waterfalls, Beaches & Coastal Camping After breakfast, the adventure continues with a scenic drive to Taqah State, where you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the coastline. From there, we head west into the heart of the Dhofar region. Our first stop is the Wadi Jarziz waterfalls—a perfect spot for hiking and swimming in crystal-clear waters. After working up an appetite, we’ll pause for a traditional Dhofari lunch in a peaceful outdoor setting. The journey continues to Al Mughsail Beach, known for its dramatic cliffs and blowholes. Later, we make our way to the second campsite at either the secluded Hidden Beach or the stunning Al Fazayah Beach. The evening is all about unwinding—dinner by the shore, fresh salty air, and the soothing sounds of the ocean.
Day 3: A Refreshing Farewell On Saturday morning, after breakfast, we head out for a final adventure to the picturesque Ain Kor waterfall. After taking in the natural beauty of the falls, guests will enjoy a refreshing treat of locally sourced coconut water (subject to availability). With hearts full and memories made, we conclude our journey. Adventurers will be dropped off at the original meeting point, bringing the Salalah Paradise Camping Trip to a close.
